Ruairi has conducted research and design on a range of projects including Airtricity, Ireland.com and NUI Galway. He has also been design lead for many of our Engineers Ireland projects, including their microsites, Engineers Conference and Your Membership.com.

Ruairi is also our user testing expert, co-managing our iQ studio user test lab along with Ciaran Harris. He runs day-to-day operations and training for new staff, and is eager to increase his expertise as a studio and sound engineer.

“There is always something new in interaction design," Ruairi says, "and I’m interested in learning more about the principles of graphic visual design – I think it’s knowledge that’s really necessary in today’s interaction design world.”

He is also interested in product design, industrial design, and usability beyond the web.

Ruairi joined iQ in 2007 as an intern, while completing his Masters in Human Centred Systems at City University of London.

Outside of iQ, Ruairi makes short films (mostly filming live music), plays the bass and guitars and goes to music festivals as much as he can.
