Randall Snare / Head of Content Strategy
Randall heads the content team at iQ. Alongside growing our content practice, she runs projects, specifying information architecture, information design, content specifications and creation and migration strategies. Some recent projects include optimising a purchase flow for Vhi with Ruairi, and total site redesigns for Permanent tsb and NUI Galway – where she constructed a content strategy for the university.
She is the editor of the iQ blog and runs the iQ publications team with Irene. Alongside project work, she runs writing for the web training across Ireland and has spoken at conferences in Europe and the US, including the first European Content Strategy Forum in Paris (she is programme chair for the second).
Randall joined iQ from New York, where she worked for Condé Nast Online. She produced online versions of their food, style and leisure magazines, including Glamour, Gourmet, and Self. Before that, she was the web editorial assistant for Every Day with Rachael Ray and a freelance writer for The Onion.
She studied English and biopsychology, and her neuroscience study at City University of New York was published in the October 2008 edition of Behavioral Neuroscience.
Originally from New Orleans, Randall loves travelling and writing - she has a storytelling and content strategy blog, Mapped. Randall is too obsessed with dogs for her own good and has developed a dog voice as a result. Only occasionally will she use this voice for cats.
