Why do you need this course?
Too many web projects are over budget and overdue.
Delivering web projects is our business, and we like to think we do it well. In this course we’ll step you through a successful web project, explaining the key activities and deliverables as we go along. You’ll learn how to structure your project correctly; who to get involved and when; how to communicate requirements in an engaging way; and how to avoid common project pitfalls.
What we'll cover
The course will be based around the four key ingredients of a successful project:
- A clear objective. Don’t start you’re project without an end goal in sight. We’ll show you simple approaches to identifying a common project goal and building consensus around it
- A structured process. Make sure you do the right things and do them in the right order
- Sexy deliverables. Spreadsheets are dull and are open to misinterpretation. We’ll show you how to present your ideas and designs in a clear and engaging way
- A relentless focus on users. Most web projects fail because they forget about the people who will be using the end product. You’ll learn how to keep your s centre stage at all times.
What you'll get out of it?
You’ll understand the key ingredients of successful web projects. You’ll learn how to organize your projects in a way that maximizes their chances of success. And you’ll know what tasks need to be accomplished and when to do them.
