With Oscar fever still in the air, Paul and I graced the red carpet of the Alexander
Hotel in Dublin for the annual Irish Blog Awards.
We sponsored the gong for “Best Specialist Blog” which was won by Kieran Murphy of Murphy’s Ice Cream for his blog, Ice Cream Ireland. Kieran also picked up the “Best Business Blog” award. Well done on both counts! On Saturday morning I started researching the nominees we were sponsoring and I’m hooked on Ice Cream Ireland.

Tom Raftery, the Cork-based podcaster and blogger,posted recently on Blogs and Search engine optimisation. Tom thinks that blogs are one of the best SEO tools around and we definitely agree. But should they be used primarily as an SEO tool? We don’t think so.
