We joined the UXalliance
We’ve been fans of the UXalliance for a long time, having worked with members from Germany, France and the USA on user testing projects both abroad and in Dublin.
After running projects in our own in-house testing lab, the iQ Studio for the past year, we were accepted as UXalliance affiliate members this October.
The UXalliance consists of 23 companies from Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, and our membership puts us in touch with over 50 usability labs worldwide. We’re really excited to be a part of it.

World Usability Day – Around the World in 140 Characters
This year’s World Usability Day is on Thursday November 11 and to celebrate, the UXalliance is hosting a free webinar based on their recent international study of the corporate Twitter accounts from the world’s most reputable companies.
Focusing on ten companies from those shortlisted in Fortune Magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies 2010, the study involved almost 40 user experience professionals from 17 countries across Asia, Europe and the Americas sending over 300 queries regarding promotions, support, products or general complaints.
Toyota came out on top, while BMW was on the bottom – to see why and who was in between, sign up for the free webinar which will be hosted by Fernando Oliveira, a consultant at Mercedes Sanchez Usabilidade (Brazil), Alessandra Millar, Consultant at ExperienceLab (UK), and Susan Wolfe, Managing Director of Optimal Experience (Australia).
