iQ Boot Camp 2008 begins tomorrow in the SAS Radisson in Dublin. While my colleagues apply a final polish to their presentations, here are some thoughts on what you can expect.
Hundreds of years’ experience in 1 place
As you may know, this year’s Boot Camp is our biggest ever. 17 workshops, 1-on-1 clinics and FutureNow – a whole lotta learning for 3 days.
Delegates from private and public organisations from every corner of Ireland are expected.
A quick calculation shows that together we will have hundreds of years experience gathered together in one place. With a bit of luck, we can coax some attendees to share their learning with us.
Boot Camping and Blogging
As the event proceeds we will be adding updates to this blog. If you have been at a course, feel free to post your own observations too. Let the blogosphere hear what you have to say.
Personally, I am looking forward to Wednesday afternoon, and not just for the Après Boot drinks. In the FutureNow seminar Paul Adams, Des Traynor, Tom Raftery and Krishna De will be giving us a glimpse over the horizon to where the web and usability is headed in the next few years.
Jakob Nielsen says it has expanded by 5,000% since he started – and still there is room for more.
