Three new usability testing features in Morae 2.0

So what are the three new features in Morae 2.0 that I’m delighted to see?

1. Graphing usability

While most of the results from our usability testing we perform is qualitative rather than quantitative, Morae 2.0 provides an excellent graphing tool, collating all your user test data into graphs you can export into Word, Powerpoint etc.

If you find yourself putting the graphically-poor Excel graphics together, then this feature is for you.

2. Defining user testing tasks within Morae

Instead of tracking tasks on paper, you can now define your user testing tasks you directly in Morae. Your list of tasks is then on hand during testing which you can manipulate throughout to measure completion success.

3. User surveys: did Morae 2.0 kill off the monkey?

Not quite. SurveyMonkey and other online surveys are still around but now Morae comes with a survey feature of its own so if you’re running a user survey in conjunction with usability testing, then you’ll like this feature.
