I would say keywords in your domain name, title, and description Meta tags.
Content on your webpage
Keywords used in your content
Words used to link to your site
Link popularity are can have a major effect. Also how long have you been indexed for I’ve noticed that search engines like you to have been around for a long time.
And being listed in the DMOZ helps a lot!
And also the domain name ext.
Like a me.co.uk is going to get better results in the UK.
Or me.ca is going to do better in Canada
