I’ve just posted up my first in a series of blog posts on accessibility over at the IIA blog.
I talked briefly about the difficulties of designing for “disabled” people as it is so hard to define “disabled”. The alternative approach is universal design, where you are essentially designing for everyone, and something we endorse completely. The way we like to put it, “Accessibility, now everyone’s invited”, sums up universal design nicely.
